Palestinian Pumpkin pudding recipe.

Image
I thought I would like to enjoy the bargains of the Halloween pumpkins that are now on sale, they are very cheap just 50P the price compared to the price before Halloween, and they are still juicy and fresh. With my mum’s tasty pumpkin jam, she learnt the recipe from her late grandmother who my mum admired loads. This beautiful lady not only had a strong personality, but she was also gorgeous and had beautiful blue eyes. She was born in the north of   Palestine, like her ancestors in the village of Saffuriya in central Galilee, this village was known in the Ancient Greece as   Diocaesaraea and during the Crusades, le Saforie . This village lying on top of a mountain was believed to be the birthplace of Mary, mother of Jesus, and where her mother Saint Anna  resided, who was mentioned in the Quran was mentioned  as "the wife of saint Joachim Imran”. Why they did not use her name in the Quran is a mystery. Wow what we started with Pumpkin jam, has then gone to...

The 65th anniversay of the ugly Kafr Qasim holocaust .

At that time, the Palestinians of the diaspora in Lebanon, their camps where called the zoos by some Lebanese – and to be honest I wish they did treat us like animals as it would have been better! We were forced to live in inhuman conditions and all people living there treated as militants and not civilians, even to this day all our cars are searched, all our bags gone through by the Lebanese military.    So how can...

Palestinian Talents

Image
I would like to introduce you to one of our Palestinian talents in the diaspora, which I consider to be marginalized like many other talents, especially in the Arab nations. One thing I ask of you, after reading this article, is to share it so that we get it publicist as much as possible please, because the Palestinian artist does not have to be present only among certain people, but his art and his presence should be recognized by all social classes in our Arab and international world.  The shining star that I will talk about today is the very talented Ali Abdel Aal, and his unique drawing, especially his painting “Frustration,” which speaks of and represents the situation for women in general and the Palestinian in particular. This piece of work is in the French National Museum, Palestine section. Honestly, it is breath-taking and catches the eye and makes you look at it constantly, because it tells a new story every time. Sometimes a story full of mystery, sadn...
