Palestinian Talents

I would like to introduce you to one of our Palestinian talents in the diaspora, which I consider to be marginalized like many other talents, especially in the Arab nations. One thing I ask of you, after reading this article, is to share it so that we get it publicist as much as possible please, because the Palestinian artist does not have to be present only among certain people, but his art and his presence should be recognized by all social classes in our Arab and international world.

The shining star that I will talk about today is the very talented Ali Abdel Aal, and his unique drawing, especially his painting “Frustration,” which speaks of and represents the situation for women in general and the Palestinian in particular. This piece of work is in the French National Museum, Palestine section. Honestly, it is breath-taking and catches the eye and makes you look at it constantly, because it tells a new story every time. Sometimes a story full of mystery, sadness, and loss, and at other times it is full of hope, clarity, and the determination of strong Palestinian women.

Frustration

The artist Ali is originally from the village of Al-Ghabsiya, Acre district in the occupied Palestine, and is currently and temporarily in the diaspora as a resident of Nahr Al-Bared camp in the city of Tripoli in northern Lebanon. He holds a drawing diploma from the Lebanese University and an honorary doctorate from the German International Cultural Centre, and he has received many certificates of appreciation and honour inside and outside Lebanon.

He has paintings that simulate the situation of the Palestinian people in asylum, and abstract paintings about our culture in understanding life. He has participated in several exhibitions inside and outside Lebanon. In total he has a back catalogue of over 700 works

Dr. Ali provides free of charge courses, including artistic and cultural activities inside the camps held within civil society institutions, in order to spread the culture of painting among the Palestinians in the diaspora, and you feel as if he is urging his students to share their displacement and its difficulties through an artistic painting that culturally translates the diaspora, the right of return and wounded Palestine.

You can find a link to his personal account on Facebook, and through it you can see his collection of drawings and contact him if you are interested in supporting one of his partnerships or inviting him to some exhibitions. He is a very special individual that you would love to meet.
